Bi-polar ranked solo queue
First of all, to begin this, I'd like to put the obvious aside: It's a team game, the tribunal exists and teams can be better than mine.
Now with that out of the way let's get down to business. I don't know if it's happened to anyone else, but for the past week or so I've been stuck in Silver V. Now getting up to Bronze I initially (a journey all of itself with tank focus running rampant) and Silver there was a lost promo to begin with. The next one went better. Getting to Silver IV? An absolute nightmare. It seems almost like it's a systematic pattern:
- Play non-promo game and dominate with a score between 6-4 and 14-1.
- Qualify for a series
- Play two series matches, both losses with my score sitting between 2-2 and 6-4.
- Get bumped back down
- Repeat
It's frustrating because out of the promo series I get teams that focus the mid and adc, use their skills effectively, take objectives and ward like mad. In a promo series? They focus champs like Nautilus and Leona, miss |every| |single| |last| |shot|, chase halfway across the map and ignore turrets or dragon and don't even use their warding trinket.
All I have to ask: Riot, do you intentionally put people with the worst possible teammates in promo series to prove a point? Or is my luck just a pile of manure? And is anyone else having this issue?
Side note: non promo matches we run 37-14 or there about. Promo matches roll around 6-25 by 20. Absolutely infuriating. I have also recently just lost my 6th or 7th promo series in a row, just wondering if it eventually gets better.
