Hi everyone and welcome I am themarine257, and this is my thread. Today you are gonna read about me goin on a rant about a lot of stuff that will make some of you think that I am an idiot, but actually I am doing this to make Ranked easier and more fun for fellow summoners.

RANKED SHOULD BE TEAM BUILDER!!!!!! How many ranked games have you guys played where people are always fighting over what lane they wanna play? Me, i have had hundreds, and it still happens. There may be a few games where everyone gets the lane they want that is like 10-20% of the time. The rest 80-90% we always have people arguing and then they play a lane or they troll. Aren't you guys gettin tired of that? I know I am. So, ranked should be team builder. Summoners go in team builder, pick their lane pick their status (assasin, marksmen, tank, support, etc.) and then go into banning champs and then picking the champs they wanna play in that lane. yes people might still troll and might go Jarvan IV and Garen bot lane, but hey. At least we don't have people fighting over lanes.

WHY AM I MAKING SUCH A BIG DEAL OUT OF THIS?????? We'll, if you really want to know, it took me hundreds of games, numerous amounts of hours to get out of bronze (elo hell). Oh man, I can't tell you how long it took me to get outta bronze, and now in silver which i thought would be better it is actually worse. In bronze people sometimes actually listen, in silver NO ONE FUCKIN LISTENS!!! I say that I would like to top or jg plz cause i main those 2 roles, and it's not that i cant play any other lann (i cant play mid, i dont know how to play mid champs) and i play tanks cause i like to go in team fights peel for my adc and take damage. But No!!!!! They instalock top and jg, (which is fine by me cause i can adc and support as well, but im not as good as i am at top or jg). They instalock saying that they main those roles too, and im like ok, that's fine just do good plz. Top lane 0/7, mid lane 3/2, bot lane 4/2, jungler 0/0/0 cause he is farming wraiths AND IS TO DAMN BUSY TO GANK A FUCKIN LANE!!!!! Let's say that im top lane and im 1/2. The jungler wont gank me once saying that he will gank lanes that have potential to win. HOW DUMB CAN YOU GET!!!!!!!! A junglers job is to gank everylane so that the lanes are winning and are head. If a lane is behind you gank the lane to help them get even or help them get head, am i right or wrong? But no, some people have to be stupid and piss me off.

Improper grammar, unnecessary insults, and capslock even though the forums provide you with bold and italics to use.

Also, the misconception that it's the jungler's job to win lanes, and that they're not allowed to have any job other than to gank.

Man, I have played a lot of matches in Bronze with my main account (it's in other server, sigh...) and I can tell that at Bronze people will follow your calls and advices the much you can chill yourself and just try to talk to them. At Bronze, I've seen people that, at least, understands when you tell them they're wrong as long as you show them what they did and if you give true advices of what doing next. And the last thing you should do is just throwing offenses an being toxic, because that will make the team trust you much more less...

But one thing I agree: Silver tier is made 99% of players that believe they're the ones that should be at Challenger. It looks like that when you get at Silver, you're better than the rest. At the time I played rankeds, I enjoyed playing at Bronze because I was able to reach people's worries, calm them down and just organize the team to win matches. The result was a flawless 8/0 matches with Malphite jungle taking me out of Bronze. But when I arrived Silver, it was just what you said. There was no way to win because nobody in the team would accept they did some mistakes. Thus, I gave up on playing rankeds at Silver V.

The team builder would be a nice thing in lower elos, at least untill Gold or Platinum II or III. At these tiers I have read and heard of countless quarrels inside teams just because of roles and that crap. But on higher elos, players just try to argue why they would be better at that role, and always ready to give up and pick what's left. The point nobody remembers is that all roles are crucial to the team's victory, even support. Maybe people don't realize that because supports stops doing damage by themselves like after level 6 or 9. Or that the jungle is not responsible for making all the lanes win, and it's not his fault when a teammate loses his lane phase. Or, even, that the support is not forbidden to kill.

I think that less team playing people just don't accept these facts about LoL....

Oh, and one more thing: it's up to the jungler where he will add his power. He is the one that will decide if it's worth to help a losing lane (like top), or to help snowball even more the winning lanes (like a more powerful mid or ADC, for example). Don't just try to blame your jungler. First, try to win your lane. If the enemy is steamrolling you, recognize the mistakes you did that lead to it. After all, when you play rankeds you must get used to face matchups where you are expected to lose.

TeamBuilder in it's current form (even if you take out the pick a champion thing) wouldn't work in ranked. Many times I go into a queue as 2nd pick and think "I'm gonna play top this game". The enemy then picks Riven who I despise playing against, so I say Actually, I'm gonna support or something like that. With TeamBuilder, I would be forced to either face Riven and probably lose horribly or dodge.

Walls of text when it isn't necessary tldr.

I get the gist of it though. You often know how the game's going to go based on your time in the lobby and dodging only hurts you for trying to avoid trolls and toxics that'll waste an 20 min. to an hour of your life. For future reference, if you want opinions, keep it short and sweet.

I agree that a pre-game lobby change needs to be implemented, but draft pick is a part of what makes the ranked games more serious. The game starts before the pretty voice says "Welcome to Summoner's Rift" or Twisted Treeline or whatever. That element is important to forming a team comp that is more balanced or fair since some champs naturally have advantages over others. Have you ever played a game where every champ on your team is countered and no one on your teams counters them? I have. It sucks. Even as a decent jungler, I can't save every lane at once. It's horrific. Also, some champs would be run right out of ranked since certain champs only excel in certain comps or matchups. Everyone would play safe -that'd be boring and stale. No one cares as much in Team-builder. I see crazy comps every day that'd get you flamed if you tried it in ranked -they usually don't work.

You need a combination of Teambuilder and Draft. People queue for their role, people vote for who picks first, people ban, people pick and counterpick (if they can,) everyone's happy. No fuss, no muss, minus the blasted afk's. Screw afk's.

Then what's the point? If your system lets people pick whatever the Hell they want (regardless of the role they 'called') and get away with it, then it sucks.
