Nemesis mode question

So i know that if you leave a game it , riot wont give you the icon but i was wondering what if a friend leaves the game? does that count as your leave as well? i ask because i know in aram even if a friend leaves it wastes your rolls so i was just wondering if because a friend left in champ select in nemesis would that take away the chance of getting the icon at the end of the mode? thank you for anyone who has an answer :)

It only counts as a leave if you yourself dodged que. If your duo'ing with someone and they dodge, they lose the icon. But you should be safe.

That's unfortunate, I was sitting in champ select waiting for my turn to pick, but I didn't notice that it WAS my turn to pick. It kicked me out because I didn't pick, even though I was in the select, talking to other players about the game mode, as it was my first game playing that mode.
