New SR. The question to RIOT map designers or who is also competent.

I have a question to RIOT about new SR. First of all, you did the good job on new map. Really. Map is becoming more serious and there will not be childishness like in cartoon anymore (about how map looks like). I like new map. But.

The problem of new map in my opinion is earth. It's like a linoleum or paper with only picture of grass and stones. No real little things onto it. Only picture (background). I mean PICTURE of it and 0 real stones or fungi. It looks so poor. Like wallpaper on the wall. That doesn't look naturally. When champion runs on water it doesn't splashe... Why the floor (earth) has no bulges? Like no fungi and pebbles which above the surface of earth?

I think that's the important part of map design. Pls, RIOT, tell what do you think about it, it's SO important for me. Sorry for my eng.

We are continuing to work on the type of issues you are raising here. As we continue development you will see more detail worked into the map. We are also careful to ensure that additional detail does not complicate and confuse the gameplay space.

So you think current map has too many details and does complicate the gameplay space? I mean what level of details will have new map? More than current map or less?

Look, what he means is that it's a work in progress, hence why it is still being tested in the PBE, changes and improvements are bound to come.

The other point is Clarity™. The direction Riot is taking right now is to make things in LoL to be as clear as possible, thismeans less clutter on the game. While it may seem amazing to have everything as detailed as possible like you said in your post it would look dirty; you wouldn't be able to tell things apart.

In my opinion this new map is amazing, looking clean and clear but also not forgetting all the details, they really did a good job and I hope they continue working on it.

I hope the new map will give us the **option **to add eye candies (at the cost of clarity). Some people has less need for clarity, but a greater desire for an immersive experience.

I don't know, looks like impossible to get feedback from any RIOT. Don't know may be needs really big amount of ppl with 1000 threads to let RIOT see the question. But the map textures are becoming worse than on current map.

No details for sure. And earth.

I would hear answer from them like "it's only for now, we will add details on map later". I hope.
