Even on summoner's rift, there's a pirate-sounding announcer. It makes me feel like I'm playing some kind of other cheesy game that isn't league.
Does anyone know if this will be going away soon? The game seriously loses alot of class with all this pirate stuff.
Its just a phase.
Although I like the way things are announced now, I do agree that this Pirate theme doesn't belong to SR because the audio doesn't match the visual. It works better on the new ARAM map...
Yes, this is just because of the new events story line, its just a bit of something Riot had done up to make people have a little bit more fun. I personally enjoy the new announcement thing :P
