It would be nice to ban some of the repetitive (
)and top tier champions we see over and over in dominion, but since there's a blind pick mode, the draft q is about an hour long.
Just make it so the only way to play dominion is by draft pick...ty gg, wp, you're welcome.
Edit someone suggested BAN-BLIND pick aka URF style....this would be good enough!
It needs the current URF setup. Where it has a bans phase then a blind pick.
I remember the old forum having a thread on it with a Rioter(manwolf) saying they would look into it. I don't think we ever got a response after that.
There was a day in EUW I never forget. For about 6 hours the servers had a bug where blind pick was gone and you could only queue for draft. At first I was a bit afraid, but man... those where the best 6 hours of Dominion I ever played. I wish Riot would do that even if they doubled the penalty for queue dodge.
I suggested merging both queues into a single blind draft (blind with bans) last year.
MWAB never listened.
I still think it would work.
Tournaments use custom rooms anyway, so they could still have a full draft pick, and be unaffected by the merge.
As long as we get to ban Urgot. The blind draft merge would be a good thing for the mode, and help more people get into the mode without suffering cheese spammers.
