New Game Mode Idea: MInion Rebellion

The Idea for this game-mode is, Two teams, one of five players the other of two players. The team with only two players will be on the minions team. It would start out simple enough with your team having a single wave of minions and the enemy team having a singe wave of minions. The game would continue as every wave of minions is released. Each new wave your team will lose a minion and the enemy team will gain five minions (two melee and three ranged). The goal is still to destroy the nexus but will most likely not be possible due to being overwhelmed by minions. The minion waves would be counted next to where the kills are counted. After every five waves all of the champions will gain a buff like, an extra 30 AD and AP, and an additional 300 health. After reaching round ten they will have two stacks of this buff. If a champion were to die a stack will be taken away. Upon reaching 5 stacks (so wave 25 if you have not died yet), your champion will deal an addition 100% damage to minions and take 30% less damage from minions. The max amount of minions in a wave could be around one hundred (three hundred on the map at once), because we don't want the waves to be crashing computers.

Thanks for reading this and please do comment on any ideas or concerns with this game mode.

FREEDOM TO ALL MINIONS!

Revisions:

  • Minions will get a buff with every other wave. The buff would be, 5% increased damage to champions and 3% less damage taken from champions.
  • Every 5th wave the minions will get a super minion for that wave.
  • Two champions (Raid Leaders) will be added to the minion team, each spawning in with banner of command.
  • Will be played in Draft Pick on Summoners Rift.
  • The Raid Leaders will get a bonus 2 gold per second and 300 gold at the beginning of every wave (they still gain the buff for champions).
  • All true damage in this game mode will max out at 100 damage, the rest being dealt in a mix between Attack Damage and Magic Damage. E.G. if Smite is meant to deal 1000 true damage it will deal 100 true damage, 450 Attack Damage, and 450 Magic Damage.
  • Another buff is added in for champions called "Threatening". One stack gives 10 AD, 10 AP, and 100 HP.
  • For every kill you get, two stacks of "Threatening" will be awarded to you. For every assist you get, one stack of "Threatening" will be awarded to you.
  • Minions deal 1% extra damage to structures for each stack of "Threatening" on all teams.

So it's not a pvp mode? Because otherwise there is one team with a crap ton of minion and another without.

Um, so why not make like a tower defense game-mode? Man vs machine, you have a decent concept, but you go anywhere with it.

this interests me but can't champs like Nunu ult and consume or people just bring summoner 11 to clear quickly

The thing is if you actually don't focus on cs and you just hit the minions so they die, you will win easily. Their needs to be super minions or those melee minions from Dominion every 5 waves. Super every 10-25 I guess.

Awww I was still working on a concept for this mode! A little bit sad you beat me to it.

Step 1: People figure out what wins in this mode. Step 2: Mode loses any play value because people either go with the win strategy or suffer, since it's PvE. (See doombots)

That'd be my concerns, even though I like the concept. Making it more like a tower defense mode would be an idea, but I'd question people's willingness on a mode that's about lasting as long as possible.
