So everbody loves URF...

Hey Riot,

while i'm just a low elo nobody that doesn't spent enough money on skins i wanted to use this opportunity to give u my toughts about the featured game modes we could play over the last year or so. (obviously you must have some reason not to make them permanent but if you are considering here are is my opinion)

so everbody does love urf? not my favourite though, i would just pick eve and see how fast i can press q or get stomped.

modes i really did like were the 1v1 and 2v2 on howling abyss just for the short duration. i got 20 min to kill before work? perfect lets just do this. if time runs out i just suicide and in most cases nobody cares (maybe i can even fit in another game). interesting lane matchup you wouldn't usually see, good skill practice for new champs, shortwhiled overall...

my absolute favourate though was the 6v6 on twisted treeline. it is such a beautyfull map that sadly i never play because 3v3 is just too boaring. if one player snowballs there is usually no coming back plus i had the feeling it heavily is in favor to the bruiser type - early game champions (like dominion imho). mostly i find myself playing aram for the reason that games on the rift are just too long and kinda slow. if myself or the whole team is loosing, its one of those games where comunication just does not work, there is a feeder on the team or whatever and mates do not want to surrender. i get frustrated quickly and turn back to aram the next game.

aram itself has its own moments of frustration. while i like the randomness, the instant action and the wonderfull artwork of the map itself, there is those games you just get the inferior team plus its pretty onesided in terms of strategic options (to not use ur new favorate term ;) - it is just one lane. (the new summoner spell does help though thank you!) 6v6 on the treeline for me just filled the gap between the rift and aram. there was instantly tons of action, you could pick ur champ and built a strong team. there were 3 lanes, neutral monsters, the altars, the recall option and the games did not take as long as on the rift but where not so short that i never could built my champ fully like say in dominion. plus the extra player of course... (5v5 still would be great on that map!!)

so, thank you just for making this awesome game awailable to us, i do play a lot as well as i enjoy the lcs shows. if you are considering to reintroduce some of the featured game modes permanently - i know - people are demanding urf.. but maybe you'll have another look at the mentioned ones.
