Thoughts on improving Team Builder.

i think rito should completely remove blind pick. it would force all of the frequent blind pick players to move to team builder for their quick based casual matches. the only standing problem with the Team Builder que is that not a lot of people are using it. most of them are using blind,draft and ranked mode.

now lets be real here. the only reason rito made team builder was because of the problems that blind pick still currently has. blind pick is straight up out dated. league of legends is becoming more and more polished, and i think it's time for it to go. the only hook blind pick has is that you can find a match in under 30 seconds. remove it and team builder becomes the new match maker in terms of popularity.

One reason not to get rid of blind pick—can't ever find support. And there won't be more support players if Riot removes normals; the only difference between normals and ranked support-wise is last-call instead of last-pick. (That and you can find more support mains in ranked. I never have to fight someone for support in normals.)

I disagree with this, there's a lot of support players that willingly queue as supports, the only reason you don't find them faster than you do is how split the player-base is between 4 game modes for the same map (Blind, Normal Draft, Ranked and Builder) while the only one of those that looks out of place is blind pick, which really doesn't offer anything over builder, I would agree to removing it.

I think there are far more people playing any other role than play support (except in Ranked), but perhaps seeing what TB is like in the next few weeks will answer this for both of us, what with the new Rift landing there first.

Of course a lot of people are playing mostly other roles but that doesn't mean there are no supports. There's still plenty of people who queue as a support just to get in game faster as well. If it was really a problem, then you could simply give increased rewards to someone who supports in team builder, like a small ammount of bonus IP for when supports are really needed, something similar to WoW's system.
