First, thanks Riot for bringing URF back this week. I'm not going to pretend to be your biggest fan, but I'm sincerely grateful for this decision.

Yeah yeah yeah, there are a handful of trolls on the Boards right now whining about URF. They're obviously not the ones enjoying it--the ones enjoying it are playing right now.

I'm here between matches. I enjoy URF. There are several oft-repeated bad arguments against keeping it permanent, and several good arguments in favor of keeping it.

Let's face it: Dominion is a disgrace to your brand, Riot. If you needed to list your accomplishments in order to impress someone, Dominion would probably be left out on purpose.

On the other hand, URF could become something worth bragging about--it certainly has more long-term appeal than Dominion. Personally, I can't remember the last time I was actually excited about the long-term plans for your game. Why not shake up the long-term a little, and replace Dominion with URF?

No. Just because you don't like a game mode that is permanent doesn't mean other people don't. URF will never be permanent, they have already said this and they would never replace another mode for that.

What i want is urf to be permanent new mode, not replace another one, this is the most played game in the world whats the big deal of having another mode, the game is 5 years old when was the last time we got a permanent mode? "but the mode would get stale and ppl would use the same champs over and over" - That's bs first because a LOT of champs in the roaster can rekt in the mode , and riot could give us more bans for URF since it's so unbalanced.

Counteroffer:

Keep Dominion, add Urf to Dominion? All the crazy wackiness of URF with a victory objective system that URF makes more challenging.

I'm up for Dominion URF.

URF isn't any faster than Dom. Don't get me wrong; it's fun, but your suggestion is laughable. URF and Dom are very similar and likely have about the same amount of long-term appeal. (with a few changes. As it stands, URF is very gag/novelty-oriented and certainly has less.)
