Modified Team Builder in Ranked Proposal

So, I just came up with this ranting about how I'd love a ranked Team Builder option as has been implemented in the past on non-NA servers. Here's my idea: It's a normal team builder lobby, but instead, you don't lock your champion first, only your position/lane. People would lock in their position and role only, and then search for a group. Once your team is found, you are matched with another and both teams pick bans, which they would submit all at once, and could edit before final submission. Then, all would lock their champions. Obviously, there would still be a ranked draft option as well. It'd just be nice to be able to know that everyone playing actually intended to play what they are.

This is quite obviously a rough idea and you can tear it down and rebuild it all you want, I just really want a team builder ranked option implemented on NA servers. Maybe, eventually, it could simply replace Draft Pick. Who knows? I thank y'all in advance for your feedback. Let's get Riot's attention.
