[Discussion] Should the idea of Magma Chamber come back?

Hello there Summoners!

Before I start this little discussion I wanted to have, I just need to warn you: I'm French-Canadian. So some sentences in this short text may shock you by their disgusting grammar. Sorry about it...

With the recent return of short period of time game modes (just to simplify things, we will call them SPGMs) such as Doom Bots of Doom, some people have been wondering why Riot doesn't want to keep these special game types. Youtuber Gbay99 did make a great video on the topic right here:

Of course, Riot might be right to make these funny game types just ephemeral so that the hype is really big when it comes out, but never really fades away (like it did with Dominion, for example). The only other recent map that came out was the Howling Abyss, but that wasn't a big financial risk since ARAMs were already a thing in Custom Games and the map has such a great spirit.

But what about the sadly famous Magma Chamber, who is mostly recognized for its cancelation. It really would've gave another dimension to the game and I believe, it could've given Riot the opportunity to test champions in different contexts or even creating specific champions for Magma Chamber.

Just a little explanation for the newer players: Magma Chamber was an intended map for 1v1 in the League. It was almost going to happen, pro players tried it during tournaments, Riot posted a screenshot of it BEFORE the release... But they didn't want to take the "Dominion-type of risk". I believe the potential of this map was enormous. For example, I have younger neighbours who have been introduced to the game recently and often have to disconnect from games because their schedule is tight. With a 1v1 type of game, being really shorter, they would've the time to experience something different.

Magma Chamber would also be the BEST last-hitting training map for beginners. It also forces you to know your champion's mechanics to dominate your opponent. You have to analyse your adversary to find the least mistake in his play style, or even in his build, to capitalize and win by killing him (or getting the tower / hitting the 100cs mark).

Also, for Riot themselves, this map would allow them to make unique characters for the map. Unique duelists that would be so much different from the other classic characters. Also, they could simply try out their new champion in a 1v1 situation, over and over again, without worrying about other lanes, even though they can just make a custom match... Anywayyyyyss...

TL;DR

Welp, Magma Chamber would really be cool to have again, it would bring something different to the game and another option for casual players since, let's be honest, Dominion is just... Meh.

Bottom line: there are four maps already, and Riot only actively supports one of them (lol e$ports lol). Until Riot decides to allocate resources to support Twisted Treeline, Crystal Scar, and Howling Abyss -- what's the point of Magma Chamber? To be Dominion Part II?
