"Custom Games" Rework

As a player all the way from season 2, I've practically played this game every day since I first made my account.

I enjoy this game.

But you can't deny that league of legends is dull. You can see this by describing the game to someone who doesn't even know what it is. The conversation usually goes like this :

"Dude! You gotta check out League, It's such an awesome game" Player says.

"What do you do in it?" friend says

"Dude, you get to pick a champion out of a huge selection and then you start at level 1 each match and level up to level 18. Then each side has npcs running down three lanes and fight each other while you fight other players and it's the same map everytime but you have to use strategy to win."

To me that sounds boring, I'd rather play an intense game like destiny and quest or gta and just go on rampages.

The 1 thing keeping the game Alive is the Competitiveness/Strategy and the hope that one day you could be pro.

But this won't appeal to the casual gamer, they will put this game down after a month or two and play a ps4.

To appeal to this audience riot could do many things, like the new map which is excellent i might add, and I am extremely excited for. But one portion of the game is completely flawed and almost near useless with less than 100 players using it at a time mostly is the "Custom Games" area of the game.

This could be reworked into something even greater than the competitive portion of the game.

What if you could create a game type based on variables of the "Host".

What if you could create a match with 3 ahris and 3 alistars on each team and playing hexakill on the Crystal scar, and the first person to win is the team who lands a hexakill first while the map slowly diminishes into just the center buff area.

What if you could 2v2v2v2?

What if you could just have a free for all with 5 other friends, or even 10 just for fun.

What if you could actually que a custom game based on what has been created that have similar goals to the gametype.

Custom games now are just a plagued land of people who dodge games but still want to play.

It could be much better.

It could actually bring a smile to your face rather than being raged on by your teammates which happens just about every game ( you know this is true)

A game can't be ruled by competition and then expect players to not be upset with their fellow teammates for losing. This is a fact.

This game needs joy or it will fall hard, and Moba gaming will be a thing of the past.

You can't Deny Urf was a success.

If you can't come up with a gametype that sticks with the players, why not let the players make a gametype that sticks with them and just let the community create whatever their desire may be whether it's an epic duel between 10 different MasterYi s or 5 xeraths going at it with 5 jayce with urf.

Please consider reworking custom games. This is a large unused aspect of the game, and quite frankly, I'm getting sick and tired of being stressed every game just because I am trying to figure out how to win an impossible game. I swear this game has given me an ulcer.

Hi! I really like your idea and I was referred to this thread by LLL Jak LLL. They think our ideas would be great integrated together. My idea for a game mode was Freeze Tag and you can find it here.
