I was wondering about what everyone thinks about a new permanent map for league. It gets kind of old playing the same map over and over. Another question as well. What do y'all think about a solution to making the less played maps more popular?
The main barrier to new maps, or even making the current alternate maps more popular, is that Riot seemingly refuses to do anything to support them. I'm less familiar with the other game modes, but the Dominion community repeatedly put forth suggestions whenever Riot asked for feedback, but Riot never did anything with those ideas. A large factor in why the alternate game modes are less popular is simply stagnation from neglect. Unless that issue is addressed, any new modes/maps will eventually collapse as well.

Riot is too incompetent to support the 4 they already have. How the fuck do you expect them to handle a 5th?
Well this event is making ARAM more popular I'd say, seeing as alot of people on my friends list seem to play it. SR is fun, but can be boring if played to much, just like other games. I dont play TT or Dominion enough because I just feel they lack the fun of the other too. To me they need to rework domion because its just a bot game thats gets tiring after awhile. Ascension was a fun game mode that did spice it up.
I wish theyd make a new "competitive" map. doesn't have to be made for LCS but make something for the regular people who play. Something with the same objective as Rift, just a way different layout
