Level 25 trying to queue as Gnar (Top, Fighter) in TB. It says the queue time will be short, but it ends up being anywhere from 25-35 minutes. Is this due to my Matchmaking Adjustment being active? If so, how many games do I have to play before the adjustment is no longer active?
I believe I'm correct on this, if I get something wrong please correct. You are playing a new champ and or role so team builder is looking for people with about the same experience has you.
Also, generally top and mid have the highest que times at any given time since they are the most played roles in team builder. It's factoring both of these while it's looking for a game.
TL:DR - You are playing a new champ and/ or role in a highly popular role means you are going to have long ques.
EDIT: For the adjustment thing, mine goes away after 5ish games.
Instead using the solo option, try the other option (I forget the name), although waiting on bot lane takes 10 - 15 normally. It beats 35 minutes though.
