Keeping some of the Old SR Quirks

Hi there! I am no one particularly special but am just was wondering about the new VU for the SR. I actually came into LoL in the 3rd season but I have been enthralled by LoL ever since! I am also one of those people who absolutely loves lore and anything that is remotely close to a story. I read up on some the lore and the history behind why the SR looks the way it does. One thing I noticed was the new Nexus look. If memory serves me well, the 6 or so summoners that surrounded the Nexus were there to channel light into the Nexus to generate power, or something of that nature. I remember there was a reason that the Golems and the Lizard Elders had a pot, cooking something but that seems to have fled my memory. Anyway, I am just hoping you guys could keep some of the old quirks of the current SR into the new one, or at the very least, craft the lore so the new SR has some sense in all of this.

One more thing I must say, to help rap this all up. A good game is going to be successful. But for a fantasy game to be as successful as LoL is now, there needs to be some story or lore to create understanding of the characters and the strange, new world that you introduce the players to. What is a world without a history? Boring. What are characters without a story? Unimaginative and just pixels that just exist. Stories are what drive connections to be made to the game. I am just a player and fan who just wants to have some of these old quirks to keep on being there. You shouldn't forget where and why you started. Don't forget the story and help us remember it, even though it is going to be harder without the Journal of Justice. Opinions and thoughts are welcome.
