How will the new map update look with the current style of the champions?
Will the champions all be redesigned to fit with the map? Or since this is the only map being redone, not affect the champions at all?

Morde and Taric will look even worse than they do now just by comparison
There are working at visually updating the worst looking champions and also updating the abilities of some of the worst champions. I believe the next champion to get a visual update will be Sion.
I think the champ will get VU too , step by step after the summoner rift vu goes live . if dont , well . the champions will look out of place .

The champs look fine on the new rift, there is no need for any extra VU's for the champs.

In my opinion most champs fit extremely well.
The rate at which champs are being VU'd is honestly pretty impressive, granted there are a ton of champions that still need VU but the fact that they've been rolling out VU's for champs at all is a breath of fresh air. WoW is JUST NOW getting VU's for the 8 (... eight...) character models that have been in the game since launch, TEN YEARS! (did I mention league is free?)
