Beginner Dominion Bots, Bots on player side

Guys, awhile ago I played a beginner dominion bots game for the first win of the day. And I got something very unexpected and it didn't even appear in my match history afterwards. So what happened was that I realized that every player on my team were also bots, I identified this by looking at the following features:

  • They all took the spells ghostsummoner 6 /healsummoner 7
  • They all have the default icons, none of them with any special gamemode icon or lcs team icon
  • They all instalock
  • They all never chat, prelobby chat, ingame, endgame, they NEVER chat
  • All their summoner names are similar in that there are no numbers and weird words
  • They all have weird builds
  • They never use the trinket of revive (soul anchor) And when the game starts, they don't go for the towers, they simply walk around. Once any of the turrets are taken by the enemy, they walk towards the enemy bot and turret dive them. This happens throughout the whole game. Making it seem like a 1v5 even against bots is hard. It is impossible to defend all towers at once and with your entire team (player bots) feeding. I have attached screenshots of this game.

Rioter pls confirm this.

New info: I have some information from a friend which said that these bots are actually player created and are programmed to intentionally feed to end the game asap. So they can gain xp and level up for the referrals. My friend knew someone in which if you pay them they would give you 10 referrals in like 1 day time. I think they program bots to feed in order to gain xp the fastest possible way. Which is why the bots on player side are programmed to take ghost/heal and are programmed just to run up to towers and auto attack nearby enemy bot champs.

This happens in every game mode, especially late at night. I play 3s almost exclusively and i see bots in EVERY game. They feed the whole time, they always have ghost and heal and they are completely useless. If your team is the only one with a bot, even if its just 1 no matter how good you do its almost guaranteed lose, thats how hard they feed. It ruins the game. Theres no point of even playing anymore. Riot please recognize this problem and do something about it

Yeah, attempting to level new accounts in anything that isn't SR has become a bit of a nightmare.

Of course, Riot won't actually dedicate meaningful amounts of resources (more than 1-2 PR people) to the problem until it spreads to Summoners Rift and starts severely impacting new player experience over there as well, so you might as well just attempt to enjoy whats left of the 3 alternate maps before the bots haven't completely killed them off.

Sure am glad Riot removed IP and XP rewards from custom games so account farming bots would flood actual games. Great move there.

Riot do we need to riot to get something done about this?

I know you don't talk about these things but can you implement some hack prevention already, so you know, we can see your progress and thank you for bringing us an amazing game play experience once again?

I just posted several screens and apparently it got deleted within just a few minutes so I'm trying to figure out what aspect warranted the thread deletion.

Effectively I was making a complaint about how players running bots are overwhelming the new player base with screen shots showing how rampant it was.
