Why do you have to choose a lane and a champ for it in team builder, wouldnt it be better if you just called a lane and join a persons game. That way you can choose a champ that goes well with the game. Instead of q'ing in for top lane riven you should q in as just top lane. So you actually build a team instead of trying to put one together.
They are going to be updating team builder. You will call a lane and once you join the game you pick your champion.
I think Riot tried that once when Team Builder was first implemented. The result was people Qing up as a support (or the like for shorter wait times) Only to change their champion, and trying to shove the support role on someone else.
And that was the reason why Riot needed the champions to be fixed before they could even Q up.
I like it the way it is.. that way when I join a team and their team comp is..... just so..... I can leave and find another team.
