Okay so I understand why the summoner`s rift thornmail is not on TT but why is there not some kind of variation like the dominion roa so that its still an option agains high dps champs that get fed and just win with very little worry for counter?

Thornmail has one purpose and that is to counter HARD AD CARRIES, and it has no other purpose LOL. There's like, maybe one melee AD champion that would give a single shit about Thornmail and that's Fiora because almost all of her damage is reflected. Yi? Whoa true dmg omg stack teh AS and don't give a shit Yasuo? LOL Ult, what armor? Also has a ton of burst from abilities = NOT REFLECTED WHOA Any bruiser in the game? Innate MR scaling, most have innate defensive abilities like shields, lifesteal, resist buffs and they all build Hexdrinkers, BorKs, mercs and hydras and don't give a shit about Thornmail or anything else really
But please continue to ask for an item that overall sucks so you can counter champions that are already struggling on the map because you can't think past your ass.

it works against all auto attack damage, even if its true damage. also, adc's aren't the only champs who auto attack. when you play yasuo do you just walk around in circles while you wait for q cooldown? im also pretty sure that abilities that count as auto attacks like gangplanks q are reflected. lets not forget that it gives you 100 armor + the passive for only 2k gold. even if someone is just an ad caster, they still almost always auto attack a ton and the 100 armor certainly puts a dent in their damage.
but please continue to ignorantly say an item sucks without actually knowing the specifics about it.
