Dominon Ranked still a thing?
Hello I've been wondering if Dominion will go ranked this season, next season or ever. I really like the game mode and the basic concept of it, will it go ranked ever?

No, probably never. Riot hasn't enabled a ranked mode for Dominion in, what, 4 years? Why would they do so mid-Season 5?
No -- Riot won't support Dominion, so Dominion will likely never see a ranked mode. This allows Riot to make bullsh!t statements like "WELL, WE'D LIKE TO ENABLE RANKED FOR DOMINION, BUT GOSHGOLLYDARN, NOBODY PLAYS DOMINION, SO THERE WOULDN'T BE ENOUGH PLAYERBASE TO SUPPORT A RANKED MODE."

No ranked until the player base grows larger.
Currently, ranked Dominion is still massively unlikely. Riot wants a sizable playerbase before spending any resources on Dominion, but the playerbase will never grow unless Riot spends some resources on Dominion. So the mode, and its remaining playerbase, continues to drift along, neglected and forgotten.
Of course we want it. We all want it. Many players who quit would come back for it. We've wanted it since it was first mentioned. It would be a huge boon to the mode, attract a wider competitive audience, force the balance and visual support the mode needs, and possibly show the demand for it as an esport. (Isn't the first rule of business to keep a diverse portfolio? Wouldnt this be the best way to get an edge over DotA2?)
But Rito is fucking Rito. They will never do anything nice for anybody.
