Are pings for wards ever going to be a thing?

I remember seeing a post a long time ago that there was a possibility of ward pings and I was very excited to hear that. Having to type "the enemy team has warded that bush," can take you a while, and if you just say "warded," sometimes they seem to think you mean you warded that bush. If you just say "ward," sometimes they think you mean they warded that bush. Having the following as pings I feel would be a great addition:

1. The enemy team has warded that area.
2. The enemy team might have warded that area.
3. Please place a ward here.

I'm sure it's already been discussed, but I'd like to know if that is going to be something eventually, or if the idea of them was thrown away for some reason?
