4-Team Summoner's Rift Map Idea

So just to be clear, this is a map for a 4-Team summoner's rift. See attachment [.jpg] for details.

In terms of a concept story for "Why this map exists", I propose you utilize the Vel'Koz story-line and come up with this theory that he has collected all of the summoners "Within the Void" and has created a map with prior knowledge and experience of the current 5v5 Summoner's Rift.

In terms of game rules, I suggest you retain all of the items from the Rift, with the exception of Wards, and here is why; along all four edges of the map I propose that you patch in "lanterns" that can be captured like the Crystal Scar's turrets, that provide vision in four stages:

0 - Always Active - Can see enemies during capture attempt (channel) 1 - Vision around lantern platform 2 - Vision up to the Jungle line 3 - Vision including the first camp of both adjacent jungles

In addition to these lanterns on the sides, all 25 jungle camps grant a ring of vision when killed, lasting until the monsters re-spawn.

krhm... Warcraft 3 maps anyone?? That aside how would the minions handle in the middle, especially considering there is supposed to be a baron spawning there? How many champions for each team? (I think the game wasn't supposed to be played with 20 players a game, RIP Eu West, for good)

I was thinking 3 solo lanes and a jungler, but I see your point. The amount of people loading in would be problematic. I saw another thread about having to rewrite code in order to add in more than the base-level "Blue v Purple".

I haven't played Warcraft, so I apologize for laying down a copy-cat map.

Minions would be another large issue to address. I placed a note about the Baron spawn being 20 minutes. I was thinking about a closed interior pit, but I'm not sure how that'd work.

A 4 team expanded version of summoners Rift could be amazing, However I think it should stick to the same warding and laning as regular summoners rift so you aren't changing champion balance. I have attached a sketch on how it could go so that laning is still standard.
