This years Harrowing is .....not much.

Why is it that this year, the Harrowing (One of my favorite events of the year) has gotten less attention than the Gangplank rework? This was a huge draw when I first started playing for the following reasons.

1. An awesome new map, which really made the LOL community festive.
2. New skins, which were based off of costumes or monsters.
3. A sense of camaraderie, which is sometimes lacking in the LOL community. Over the last couple of years I've had to watch first the map, then the skins (This years have not much to do with Halloween/Harrowing) and overall the event itself. Reducing community events like this reduces the community. I don't know what decisions drove Riot to strangle the life out of the harrowing (If anyone does, please feel free to post them), but the lack of character that results just makes me sad, and makes me want to start playing something else. Goodbye Harrowing, it was fun while it lasted.
