Suggestion for Team Builder - "Common Roles" Button During Pre-matching screen

Fourtys··4 votes·396 views

While configuring your champion, role, summoners, etc. before matching into a Team Builder game, I really think it would add value to the experience if there was a button called "Common Roles." This button (could be a drop down) would bring up a list of champs you've played recently, with everything else already filled in.

At minimum, the option to play exactly what you played last game should be made available. Sometimes you just need to practice a certain champ, and that's partially why Team Builder was made a "thing" anyways.

Let me know your thoughts.

Am i crazy or did this used to exist?

I think the reason they took it down is because everyone complained that skins didn't work in teambuilder (read as: people didnt select a skin) and that feature was the main reason. You still had to select a skin even if you were playing exactly the same thing as last game.

I like this idea, it makes jumping into a teambuilder game easier, but on the other hand, it saves about 20 seconds and 15 mouse clicks (at most: if you have to change skins, runes, masteries, and both summoner spells). They certainly have space for it in the client, and it would be a cool feature to add, but unfortunately it's probably low on their priorities.

Think about all us lazy people (or all the high people that play), those seconds and mouse clicks are either painful, extended, or otherwise increased. Mix in some forgetfulness and the inability to make ones mind up at times; that's a recipe for a solid minute.
