So, normally I'm content with every update that LOL comes out with and many time enjoy them. Well not today. I wanted to comment on the new map view and the entire framework that has recently changed. For lack of a better word, personally, I think it sucks. Not because the graphics aren't nice. But simply because it is confusing. I think in the attempt to make things smoother and come out with something new/ hip, LOL made the framework confusing, in my opinion at least. There is not easy way to ping, requires alt+ which kind of delays communication as players are already using button on skills. Furthermore, item purchasing is now different as well. Everything is to the opposite of where it used to be. And lastly, the most annoying thing that I found after delay in ping, is the deep male voice informing players of what's going on. Not that I'm sexist or anything, but the low tone female voice was easy to pick out and I was able to easily hear what's going on in the game. Now, it's a bit difficult. Not to mention, the tone in which the male voice integrates the information is not "cool" or dramatic/ medieval rather just simply...annoying.

Again, all this is my opinion on the recent changes. Like I said, normally I enjoy the changes that LOL comes out with and adapt to whatever I'm not a 100% fan of. This, however, is something that actually bothered me enough to write a post about. Sorry if I offend anyone, just saying. Thank you LOL for this awesome game.

Unless you heavily favor mouse movement over keyboard controls, using alt shouldn't really slow down your pings. Alt's already used as self-cast; using it for pings shouldn't be much of a stretch. If you just don't like alt, 'g' and 'v' can be used for pings (I think it's those hotkeys).

And lastly, the most annoying thing that I found after delay in ping, is the deep male voice informing players of what's going on.

As far as anyone seems to know, that's just a temporary announcer to celebrate the Bilgewater event.
