Nighttime Aesthetics- General Idea

If some bored employee over at Riot just wanted to hop on this I think it would be great.

I think that another way to add some dimension the realm of Runeterra would be to introduce a nighttime rift (and other maps following). The rift wouldn't change physically, but the lighting would change every once in a while from match to match (Or maybe based on what time it is where you're playing, just so you can feel extra bad about only playing at 2 in the morning). Instead of being lit by daylight, it's time to get some use out of those sconces holding fire all over the map (and maybe they could use the "glow" from the cracks or add some florescent mushrooms, or maybe just a ball of fire follows nighttime champs). Instead of daytime at the scene in top lane, you would see stars and fire from a village down below.

(As I type this, I realize that you could also make it a mechanism to add some more difficulty to the game. You could make the range of vision less than daytime, like how it's more difficult to see at night.)

I think it would do more to add some realism to the rift and make it feel more immersive (as immersive as a fantasy MMO with magic can feel). Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

ADDENDUM Someone on another board suggested that the light in game changes based on how long you've been playing! Like sun sets around 20 min and maybe even rises again around 50!

I would love it if they did this, only addition I would make is that dealing ignite damage to an enemy would cause them to light up their vision range of the map and become visible for the duration, since you know they are burning and thus giving off light
