Wait.... acension is going away?
"Ascension will remain active until the next patch and you’ll be able to earn rewards until then." --riot 2014. So acension the game mode will be going away forever?? really??

Maybe not forever, but it's going in the game mode vault where they keep Hexakill, URF, All For One, and any others that they are working on but have yet to mention.
My guess is that each of these games tests a specific piece of the puzzle Riot is working on, and it's all in the name of improving 5v5s. That or they are just having fun and testing their own abilities.
I don't like acension anyway :D
I go take a quick vacation in a padded room and i come back to ascension being gone... im thoroughly depressed now....
