Team Builder Improvement?

So team builder is a great idea, but... There is room for some improvement. It would be amazing if you could choose a role instead of a role and character, then be able to enter a draft with this build team of roles. Blind picking can just be really annoying when you face counter after counter and I feel drafting tends to be much more fun. But the problem with draft is that i rarely get to pick the role i would like. So I think this would be an AMAZING upgrade to teambuilder in general. Would love to hear some feedback from the community on this idea! :)

This should be in addition to regular team builder. It is a very good idea but I don't think it should replace team builder as we know it.

Lyte has mentioned a few times that they're working on a ranked Team Builder system that has players queue just for role (or position. I forget which). I don't think Riot's commented on whether they'll replace the current normals TB system with the new one once it's done, though it seems like it'd be a little silly if Summoner's Rift got a sixth (or potentially seventh) queue.
