The Maps of Valoran

So I got to thinking about the different areas that exist within the lore world of League of Legends. Anybody who's made a custom game has seen some of those other areas on the map and thought. " Hmm " However being the way the game is, it can be difficult to come up with a fulfilling new game mode all together to fill in each individual area so that simply won't work. Why not instead make the different areas into variations or themes for variations of the classic Summoners rift map. Think of a Shurima theme rift with sand every where and maybe little scarab beetles instead of scuttle crabs. Maybe a Demacia at battle with Noxus theme where red is Doxus and blue is Demacia on the map respectively; Allowing again special neutral mob model variations. The game doesn't change over all and the variations allow for a pleasant alter to the pace. I don't think it's simple or easy to approach but...perhaps food for thought?
