I have an idea for a map imagine a triangle a platform and nexus for each corner, 3 teams each fighting a team to their right and a team to their left a 3 way match up, Could either be first to kill nexus or last team to have a nexus. could even be the first map to have 6 on each team or leave it at 5 and have to decide on which side to take 3 on, have the middle some type of jungle. Or 3v3v3 Would like to get some feedback.
The important thing is ironing out all of the problems that could crop up in a 3v3v3 matchup:
very interesting and cool. i would love to see RIOT add more maps. LOL could be something extraordinary with things like 3v3v3.
i think they should add like a capturing fountain in the middle of the map and require like protecting to gain points to win(something like the crystal scar). there should be relics to collect like the ascension mode. This can solve some problems mentioned below

But on topic that would be a cool concept, they could stick a new boss creature in the middle of it (which could be different and unique from baron, vilemaw and dragon in the other maps)
Could be a neat idea, but there is one issue I think would hinder this from being made. I use to be big into MTG and every now and then my friends and I would have a 3-way (continue once done with giggling) free for all and EVERY time one of us would get ganged up on by the other two. It always felt unfair, but that's just how it had to go. Someone had to die first. The other option was to wait it out amassing our combos until someone tipped their hand and made the first move and proceeded to be destroyed by the other two who then went for each others throats like wild animals or the first guy managed to completely annihilate the other two before they could respond.
Maybe it would play out differently in a MOBA though?
I remember something like this from a while ago, a riot staff member said the game is programmed for one team versus the other and would take alot of programming to actually make this possible.

5v5v5, objective in the middle of the map? Kind of like Ascension? *Something to force a fight, you know?

This is almost like the other 3 teams, 1 map thread. Why create a new thread about the same topic?
I would prefer they enhance the experience/popularity of their secondary maps first before wasting a whole new mode on people who will just keep playing summoner's rift.
I remember a Red posting on the subject of a 3 team map, and they concluded that the win condition would have to be something along the lines of "whoever kills the first enemy Nexus wins" to prevent two teams from ganging up on one and turning it into a 1v1 again.
I think that if this ever happened, whichever team was seen as the weakest would be double teamed, but that the closer both attacking teams got to the nexus, the more they'd end up fighting each other. It'd probably take a lot of tinkering to design a map where the opposing teams would naturally meet outside the base of the defending team.
If this happened, would there still be buffs for junglers? And it would be interesting as a 3v3v3. 2 solo lanes and a jungler.
a 3 team battle sounds awesome but the triangle would only work if its an even amount of players on each team, other wise one team will have a 1v2 lane
