Battle boost bad?

So from what I was reading (still at work) I read about the battle boost and heard the complaints on the forums. Is this because the boost only lasts for one game?

The way I read it online it seemed to me that you pay the boost once and you get the bonuses for nemesis draft for as long as it is available. That deal sounds pretty sweet to me.

Can anyone verify whether it last for one game or for the whole duration of the featured mode?
