Is this necessary?
Is it really necessary to change Summoners Rift? I rather see you guys upgrade or invest in better server stability.

I'm sure they will get all the concept artists that made the new summoners rift right on the problem with server stability they might be able to figure it out...
The teams that worked on the SR VU have absolutely nothing to do with server operation. It's just as appropriate to tell your mail man that he should be focusing his time on improving Riot's servers.
I'm pretty sure they said in the video that they're trying to make it optimal for every toaster there is out there. As for server stability, not entirely sure for the reason that there are just hackers everywhere and some of those hackers just hate the world.
