i think that it would be cool if riot added a ranked aram that would be so cool, i play aram alot so having that option is really nice. i wouldn't know how to give like rewards or anything like that, but i think it would be really awesome. not alot of people play aram so this would be a really good way to get people interested in it

I think you're paraphrasing a little hard right now. But they definitely didn't say "it's not a real game mode".
Though I know they've said some dumb things about Dominion, they've also admitted to not really understanding it as they don't put any resources into it.
