ARAM Dodge

I like to play ARAM games a lot. But something bugs me... There are to many people dodging ARAM games(especially in EUNE mprnings) and it's very annoying... I think reducing the waiting time after the matchup up would reduce thi issue... Or severe punishements for dodging... You tell.

Penalty needs to be increased.

Count it as a loss for MMR. Make the dodge timeout only count down while you are logged in.

The problem is smurfs. They unlock only the most OP champions, and dodge when they roll a free week, just so they can hop onto another one of their many alt accounts and do the same thing again. They scum for OP rolls like this until they get one, because they have no skill or the ability to win on their own. Counting dodges as losses would force them down to their proper MMR, so most legit players would never have to deal with them, and the forced-login penalty prevents the account-hopping.

The timer is not really a penalty since people just log out and log back in with a different account. Some folks don't care about MMR. What riot should do is disable the bonuses from the rune page and masteries for the next unranked game after someone dodges or AFKs. The whole point of dodging is that the person wants to have an advantage in champion select. The handicap offsets the advantage enough where i think people would think twice about dodging, but isn't enough to ruin the game.

One thing that would at least limit dodging, would be to have all the champions locked through a dodge. If someone dodges, not only would they have the same champ, but everyone else would. And while the person that dodges should have at least 10 minutes of wait, the rest of the team should be placed on the same team with exactly the same champions (except the dodger). if it went one step further, it could give the replacement for the dodger the same champion as the dodger (even if they didn't own it). All incentive for dodging is essentially gone ... that might stop it quickly.
