Draft Pick and Custom Game Creator (suggestions)

Greetings, Riot.

There are a few things I'd like to share with the staff and the community about aspects that I think can be improved.

First off Draft Pick. Draft Pick was released during Season 1 and it helped to let the users ban 3 champions they thought were OP, broken, or they simply didn't want to deal with them. Back in Season 1 we had 81 champions, meaning we were able to ban 7.4% of the champions. As of now we have 124 champions and banning 6 of them doesn't mean much; it barely represents 4.8% of all the champions. Now, if each team was able to ban 4 champions instead of 3 (which may not seem like a big difference), it would mean about 6.4% of the current amount of champions. This way Ranked Games and other Draft Pick Games could be more balanced and the use of some champions during these games will change letting the users learn and experience different champions.

Something else I believe is outdated and has been forgotten is the Custom Game Creator. During my years of playing LoL, I've enjoyed several custom matches. The potential LoL offers with all of its Champions, Items, Skills, Maps, and many other features is amazing. Sadly, this potential can't be fully used due to the current Custom Game Creator. What I suggest is a simple way to modify certain features of a match such as being able to ban certain Items, Champions, Skills; Set a timer for the match, being able to win a match with kills, allowing Turrets to respawn or not allowing Inhibitors to respawn, the amount of Minions per wave, the amount of gold per kill, etc. I'm sure many people have played the famous custom game Hide & Seek. If you have, you'll know how hard it is to find people who respect the rules since it is really easy to cheat. Custom Games like this one and many others will be much enjoyable and easy with an updated Custom Game Creator. One more thing that may not be necessary but would be great is to be able to save our own Custom Games so we can just launch them without having to set everything up every time we start a match.

I appreciate the time you took to read this and please leave a comment with your opinion and/or ideas.

The hardest part about this would be server strain, if the server had thousands of games all with different rules, forcing it to do very different calculations all simultaneously it's going to bog down the server and potentially crash it. While i dont imagine many players have this many games going on at once, it is a possibility. Not to mention they would have to test EVERY single combination of rules for bugs EVERY single patch to ensure these altered modes would be as healthy as the usual queues
