[Suggestion] Jungling 101 Tutorial In-Game

Now, this may come off as sort of a rant post but bare with me. I just played a Team Builder game where our Jungler was less than satisfactory with presence, pressure, and utility.

I may not be a Jungle main but I have played my fair share in the role to be able to perform my duty at my current level. I'm a Mid/Top main by preference and although these roles were pretty easy to learn, I feel as though the Jungle role was always my weakest point until I had to figure out the bare minimums to do well. I believe many newer players to the game and the Role will benefit from a "Jungling 101 Tutorial". This tutorial would be an option for players to choose from but maybe a tooltip could be shown like Microsoft

Here are a few suggestions for Riot to implement into a Jungle tutorial:

  1. Prioritize: Take not of which lanes which need help more than others, if all lanes are pretty equal try to help the lane that would benefit most in the mid/late game
  2. Presence/Pressure: Although this ties in to #1, try to aid your lanes when the enemy Jungler also shows up for a gank or pressure another lane for an objective.
  3. Utility: Not all ganks are successful, don't beat yourself up over it. If you can show up and disrupt the flow of a lane, you can definitely try to force the enemy to blow their Summoner Skills. Also, if your laner(s) are in trouble you can show up to diffuse the fight and let your laner(s) live for another fight.
  4. Vision: Enemy vision is something to take into account. Try to notice when/where the enemy are placing their wards. Look at their movement patterns to distinguish the common locations of warding. It will supply you with information needed to plan your gank, come back when it's expired, or focus on another lane.

Thanks for reading and I'd appreciate if constructive criticism was given. Remember folks: You're only as strong as the weakest player on your team. It's better to learn a small amount than none at all.

The Office Helper is annoying, but you're completely right.

You need to ask yourself if it would be legitimately helpful to the players that actually need it. And would they even use it?

Also, jungling isn't something that should be done without prior knowledge, and anybody with prior knowledge already understands these concepts. How are you going to get players to apply said knowledge?

IMO, it's just something that comes with practice and a tutorial wouldn't help one damn bit.
