New Featured Game Mode: No I in Team?
The idea is quite simple; it's a 5v5, best of 10 on Howling Abyss or Summoner's Rift. Each match is one round, every round is slightly different than the last (more on this below). Champion select only happens once (at the beginning, obviously), it would be blind-draft pick (3 bans per team; Blind Pick), and would have a slight increase in time to allow more strategic players/groups to plan. After every round is completed a temporary score screen will show up, and the next round will begin shortly. Since it is a best of 10, the first team to win 6 rounds is pronounced the winner and the game will end. This mode is all about team-fighting.
Now we get to what makes this game mode much more intriguing. For the entirety of the games every champ** starts at level 18**, so no level advantages and runes/masteries are disabled altogether. Players only get 1 life per round and whichever team completely dies first for any reason will lose that round. As for each round, something new will be unlocked/given to every player to add more spice. Each round will have the following modifiers plus w/e the previous rounds introduced:
(Gold will not be a factor, therefore all items are free)
Round 1: No items, no neutral buffs, no nothing...Its all about spells, skill, and base stats
Round 2: 1st item slot is unlocked, Potions are enabled
Round 3: 2nd item slot is unlocked
Round 4: Blue and Red buff are acquired; No duration limit
Round 5: 3rd item slot is unlocked
Round 6: 4th item slot is unlocked
Round 7: All champions auto capped at 40% CDR
Round 8: 5th Item slot is unlocked
Round 9: 6th Item slot is unlocked
Round 10: Baron buff is acquired; No duration limit
*Round 11: Tiebreaker round if necessary
--Any items that normally need time to stack,
,
, etc. will be fully stacked upon purchase.
--Every new round everyone starts with a clean slate; you're allowed to purchase different items if you choose.
--There will be a 10min time limit per round. If the limit is reached the round will end and the team with the least dead wins.
-------Tiebreakers in order of importance: Total %health remaining, Damage dealt vs taken ratio, Total time between deaths per team.
Map Adjustments: --All turrets are destroyed --Inhibitors are untargetable and minions do not spawn --Neutral monsters do not spawn (SR) --Health relics disabled (HA)
