Would it be reasonable to award champion mastery points for 3v3?

I understand that the games are shorter, but personally I don't see why we should exclude the game mode from the mastery system. I play 3v3 a lot more than 5v5 because I only have 2 friends, and I want the world to understand my aptitude at the deviously cerebral playing experience that is Morgana.

But in all seriousness, I would urge Riot to consider adding it to this game mode unless there's been a stated reason not to do so.
