New Special Feature Game Type: Tower Defense
(Disclaimer: Not forcing anyone to try anything, but at least consider it.)
So, me and a friend were discussing a new game-type they should try to do for League of Legends.
So here is the base idea of the game: It's three lanes, Top, Middle, and Bottom lane specifically, and you have to defend your Nexus from Waves of slightly stronger minions and maybe jungle mobs who grow stronger every passing moment. Each other wave would have a mini boss and eventually lead to a large Super Minion boss or maybe even Dragon as the boss.
The goal is to last as long as possible and to include the same difficulty mechanics as Doom Bots, such as: Difficulty Levels 1, 2, and 5. 1 being the easiest, and 5 being the hardest with some really strong waves for your towers to try and defend themselves against.
Minions would have to be immune to abilities and summoners to prevent it from being too easy and you'd be able to upgrade or repair your tower with gold you win as funding for each of your waves. The summoner spell "Garrison" could be used in this game-type to do an emergency tower heal for when you have no gold to repair... Or are just too lazy.
Basically I just wanted to put this out here and discuss this with you guys, and maybe get some of Riot's attention. A few other friends really love the idea of this. :D
