New Game Mode: Afterlife

Hi, guys! What's my idea all about? Imagine a normal summoner rift game (nothing special so far) and you die (I know some of you are immortal, but anyway). Now, as the game mode's name suggests, instead of waiting say 30 seconds to re-spawn, you summoner's soul is able to obsess any creature on the map (like minions, jungle mobs, dragon, Baron :D). So, you can control one of these units, but you can't choose which one, your soul is randomly bound to only one of them. The control lasts as long as you are "dead", i.e. death timer reaches zero. When you obsess a creature, you provide your allies with vision (yeah, you become a moving ward) and you can use its abilities (incoming gold is for you)

Note: You can obsess only enemy minions and as soon you do your allies can't attack you. For the enemy team you look like one of their minions, except that you act "strange" and you are able to attack them.

Depending on the creature you obsess:

  • Caster minion: As soon as you get control of a caster minion, two melee minions will faithfully follow your way (you can't command them, but they will attack your target).

  • Siege minion: As soon as you get control of a siege minion, three other (caster or melee) minions will join your path. If there aren't any other minions close to you, they can join you as soon as you come close to another minion group.

  • Super minion: As soon as you get control of a super minion, any other minions (except super minions) will escort you.

  • Baron: baron is untargetable while possessed and has increased damage to turrets, but causes all minions around him to run away in fear.

  • Dragon: The eyes of the dragon can reveal invisible units (both wards and enemies). He grants all casters in his sight increased AP.

At the end of possession the unit will return to its original position (Baron, Dragon and jungle mobs) or join the closest minion group. At the same time a ghost like the one from "Twin Shadows" will spawn from it going straight to allies base and disappearing after ~3 seconds announcing the return of the soul :D

I think you mean "possess" .

I think it might not have enough uniqueness to make it through as a custom game mode. Custom game modes need elements that make them feel like a brand new, fresh way to play the game.
