My client crashes whenever I enter Champion Select (ARAM)

Alright, so basically whenever I enter Champion Select (ARAM only) my client crashes and stops responding. Usually, I have to forcibly close the client via Task Manager (I am running W 8.1 btw) but sometimes it responds automatically within 30 seconds or so. What is there to be done in order to be sure that I will never need to Restart my client? Riot, please fix this.
