SR VU Blending of Walls and Paths
I am finding the new SR to have a lot of blending between the walls and the paths. Especially in left blue camp area. If you look at the wall separating Frog and Blue, its very easy to see what I mean. The brown gray of everything really makes it difficult to see where the path edges are. I know the old map has a much sharper yellow and green difference that makes it much easier. I love the new colors and how much better this all looks, but I think Riot needs to make a sharper contrast between what is a wall and isn't.
I have some slight color-blindness which may be exacerbating the issue, but it was never a problem on the current SR as long as I had color-blind mode on. Riot wants to draw attention away from the "background colors," but these are the bounds of the arena. Positioning and placement are so much harder when you don't know where exactly your going to hit a wall in the middle of a messy team-fight when you can barely see where it is.
I don't know how this could be fixed, but I hope there would be a way to make the walls *pop* a bit more. At the moment it looks like They're using darker grass and shadows to achieve this along the edges, but Ii think the walls themselves should be significantly different colors then the path. I think this could be achieved while still keeping the themes they want.
Anybody else relate to this?
