Summoner's Rift Visual Update - Opinions?

While I agree that this change makes it easier to navigate both dimensionally and visually, I think in attempting to make things more simplistic in functionality, it has also become so visually, sacrificing an initial impact that has become so akin to League Legends.

The entire map itself - more noticeably within each each lane - has become too smoothed over, and is no longer visually intriguing. I think that simply adding back some of those textures to the new structures would vastly improve the cohesiveness of the experience players have with the new map, and allow them to better accept it (i.e. rock structures and runic vegetation such as the glowing vines found on various surfaces of the previous Summoner's Rift).

That being said, I understand how texturization could be the first thing to go in the ongoing quest of improving compatibility among the spectrum of players' high or low end hardware.

By my recollection, a lot of the simplicity in the new map is very intentional. They want it to look good, but not to be visually distracting at all.

The rift should look more bright and happier like the magic forest that it is, this fits better with league, regardless of the actual fact that summoner's rift is suppose to be a battleground the map should reflect that it is a magical forest on top of a mounter first and foremost and have it like a league feel which is good artstyle, brighter colours, and slight cartoon feel
