Done with Twisted Treeline due to IP-farming bots...

Bots have overrun Twisted Treeline solo/blind, and my frustration has reached a level that the mode is no longer worth playing.

Most recently, I ran into a bot that resulted in a 20 minute waste-of-time game, reported it, and waited several minutes in order to avoid ending up with it again, but found it in my next champ select anyway. I dodged, so of course I received a 6 minute penalty. Prior to that, I had never dodged a game in over 2 years of playing League of Legends. (My human teammate was understanding.)

I'm not playing with a bot on TT again, so I have to avoid the mode. 2v3 all game just isn't practical or fun. And I'm not going to sit through a penalty for avoiding it - I am going to go play something else.

When Ascension came out, I thought part of the point was to draw people's attention back to Dominion as a worthwhile mode. But if Dominion and TT and just "legacy" modes not worthy of care and attention, don't promote them - retire them. I quit Dominion after a game where I was on a team with 3 bots and one human. My post about that experience drew comments from people who were the only human on their team, or even in the entire 10-person game. They're not that common in TT yet, but for me it's no longer a mode worth my time. (Even the wins aren't satisfying 3v2).

I hope you're working on this, Riot. If bots become common in SR at any skill level, you're going to have a serious problem on your hands. So I think it's an issue worth working on across modes.

In any case, I don't always have an hour plus to dedicate to a game on SR - it would be really nice to have a playable, bot-free mode - be it Dominion, TT, Urf, Ascension or something else to play in around 20 minutes... but right now, apparently I have... Heroes of the Storm? It's not LoL by a long shot, but it's quick and I haven't run into bots there yet...

Please work the bot problem. Please.

They are on TT now? I know they are overflowing on Dominion co-op -- I can't even play it any more due to getting multiple of them on the same team (which is basically an auto loss even against Beginner AI to proc FWotD).

Really silly that they can't deal with this issue faster. I mean, they have so many systems in place for toxicity, but this is by far worse! I can mute a trash talker, I can't stop a bot from costing us a game.

bots suck and are literally turning people away from the game. The quality of the game itself and the community is holding me here for now but seriously im looking for an alternative.

Here are some bot accounts I've played against recently:

In the game before:

  • DarkaMorgan

  • XuanaColbyz
  • OOMaBenjamin

As you can see there's a pattern in the usernames: [Insert Word] -a- [Insert Name]. This suggest that there are programs online that create bot accounts for resale when they reach level 30.
This is absolutely disgusting and completely ruins the gameplay. I can not advocate how crucial it is for Riot to fix this and I'm extremely worried that it won't be long before these bots hit the rift, ending League for good. Rito pls... it's ruining the game.
