Game Mode brainstorming: Wounded Runeterra (Or whatever other name sounds appropriate)

The thoughts behind this game mode are simple: The "League of Legends" was started because the magical war was taking its toll on the world, what if this game mode shows that -actually- happening. It can either include its own map or be Summoners Rift in general, the world of magic is collapsing from overuse and excessive destruction. As you play the map chaos ensues in the form of whatever you want. Just an idea of things that can happen:

Rifts between the Void and Runeterra: Periodically, void creatures (in the form of mini-bosses or even a mega boss) will generate in a violent rift/explosion around the jungles and even inside player lanes and bases, make all turrets and inhibitors destructible without prerequisites so it adds a new level of play. Do we protect our own base? Do we shove down the middle and take out all the towers in line or sneak our way to the back of the enemy base where a turret was destroyed by a stray voidling or two.

Snaps of Reality: Sometimes regions (ranging in size from a single bush to an entire quadrant of jungle, or randomize to be various sizes by luck) have unknown effects. Slowing, burning, speeding up, healing, mana/energy regen, skills cast while inside grant cooldown reduction, etc etc. There really is no limit to what you can do with this, and would make the League seem much more chaotic and simultaneously fun.

Tears of Magic: This too can range in size, but larger regions have a bigger warning... Suddenly spells of a volatile nature start occurring for no reason at all. Suddenly 5 Ziggs nukes hit the map at random points, or maybe a couple Lux lasers fire from nowhere or even a single large one going from one section of the map to the other. Tidal surges hit the entire map Nerf Nami. The magical world is falling apart! who knows what could happen.

Shards of Stability: Perhaps you can add a system of risk so that even teams ahead have to focus on objectives, and perhaps if things get out of hand due to neglect, both teams even have to settle their differences less both teams lose! Have magical shards or fragments of reality periodically spawn, with a bar on top of the screen that shows the current stability, have a shrine that contains these shards or fragments and increase the stability, neglect it and these hazards and anomalies can occur more often and have harsher consequences, let it reach 0 and a new game mode kicks in that makes it so that neither team can win until stability is at a safe level, if a Nexus dies that team is forced out of the game (Or is even forced to take over some of the events and even void creatures!) and the remaining team has to deal with everything themselves, if their Nexus dies, neither team will see victory.

In theory you can even turn any of these game modes into their own standalone game mode, but I feel keeping them all together would make the otherwise repetitive game of league suddenly have a LOT more to consider, champions that were otherwise considered "useless" like Evelyn, might be picked more often simply because creatures of the void wouldn't see her (or only certain ones can).

Anyhow all of this is just an idea, I don't know if anyone else already thought of this or if I'm copying a post word for word, but I felt like I'd at least voice it in case it wasn't.

As I said, various things can be in whatever extent the developers so desire, it doesn't -have- to be everything at once, in fact for the first 15 minutes of the game it could even just be regular summoners rift then things start to go down, then if the match hits about 60 minutes in (Where pretty much everyone is full build) then the real chaos starts to ensue on a larger scale. I feel like this would be a very fun game mode :D

So basically pure chaos?

The idea is cool though. Maybe your idea is a tad over the top, but playing a game on SR where areas suddenly disappear into the Fog of War, puddles of evil spew out of the ground at random and things randomly explode would be interesting.
