So is this game type still in the game? the 4 minute q timer and lack of any motivation to play Dominion makes it seem like it's not there anymore.

There was sarcasm in my post. I'm just saying the game mode, is under played, underutilized, underappreciated, and underemphasized.

Yes. Riot stopped caring about it immediately after they found that their big tournament was much more successful
