New game modes
Myself and a few friends of mine were talking about the featured game modes and thought we had a fairly good idea for one. We noticed that the prior game modes were either earning points, killing the nexus, or the the small 1v1s and 2v2s. Like most people I was a huge fan of Urf mode when it came out with the constant fighting and quick playstyle so here are some ideas I came up with.
First, I was thinking of a form of kill count game on summoners rift would be fun, starting players with a thousand or two gold and possibly putting a permanent homeguard enchantment on every player, making the platform turret reach the whole base to provide safety while spawning with a no "backing" option like it is on the Howling Abyss. There would just need to be motivation for the players to leave the base, such as them being forcefully ejected after a minute or some such thing. "as well as short death timers to keep the game moving" The idea would be to make sure that your team worked together trying to reach the kill cap first. now whether or not creeps would be involved in this, if not for money but at least sight would be up to development.
On the same note, the 2nd of my three ideas is a similar kill game, possibly up to about 50-75 kills which would probably have it last about half an hour depending on how it is played "would be figured out during PBE testing" made as an URF mode on Howling Abyss with no death timers and permanent homeguard buff making the platform turret reach the inhibitor turrets, promising constant action and fighting.
My third idea was that there could be some form of capture the flag. I'm not sure on what map, but you would need a decent gold generation, and increased armor and health for the carrier as well as a good chunk of movement debuff and true sight on them... "and while writing this idea down, using the same buff/debuff that could be used "possibly not the movement speed debuff." you could have a form of VIP game where whoever kill the enemy VIP the most times, or kills each enemy player as they all take turns being the VIP. or giving a similar VIP buff as shurima but have the points based solely on acquiring that buff which after holding it for 1/3 of the overall time on 1 player without being killed it is transferred back to a (boss) character.
