IP Farming Programs in Twisted Treeline (Normal)

So I have been playing League of Legends off and on for some time now. I enjoy the complexity and strategy of the game. I myself don't mind playing 5's I support alright if you ask me, but my true love is the Twisted Treeline. I love 3's!! Now I am not the best player in the world, and I'm not sure I'm ready for ranked or if I could even get recruited for a ranked team as most of my friends play 5's, and look down upon my tiny map. lol jk. So I play normal games because AI is too easy. So for the past year have noticed a huge infestation of what I am only going to assume as IP farming bots to buy all runes and champs, be it for profit or personal gain because there isn't a nerd somewhere ready to take advantage of a corporate market. You will always notice, they pick free to play champs, and I notice their summoner spells are very odd from ghost, cleanse, exhaust, and smite? They are known for turret diving, recalling at home base, hiding in only 2 bushes in the game, and never capping an alter. I don't know what Riot can do to create a detection and auto ban program, but it has destroyed one of my true league loves. :(

YES!!! I was just gonna post something about this. Twisted Treeline is pure garbage because of these bots. You can tell because they don't spend all their gold at the beginning, usually only 1 item and a couple health pots. And then throughout the game they always follow the same pattern. And of course they never talk. I played a few 3v3's in recent days, and every one had at least one bot. One game had all bots but me. The last time I played I was on a team with 2 bots vs a team of 3 live people. So basically, the winner is determined right at the start, by whoever has the bot advantage. Less bots on your team = winner. It's worse than SR games with bots, because they are less common and you can sometimes make up for a single bot or afk on your team, but with 3v3's, a single bot means the outcome is already determined. Frankly, it's BS and it needs to be top #1 priority to fix. Put new champs and new items on hold, and FIX THIS CRAP!

Well its kind of hard to differentiate bad or new players from bots sometimes. Sometimes ive seen bots that build the same thing in the same order multiple times (back in the day when I would play dominion.) so I guess checking for that would be an option. Another option would be monitoring for certain programs running while in a league game, but I dont think many users would go for that. I honestly can`t think of many ways to find bots other then checking for repeated similar behaviors.

One last problem is they usually do it in the lesser played game modes so it`s harder to be detected because not many people play those modes thus less reports.

Bots have been around for years. Riot recently confirmed that they're trying to address the issue via referral system change and ban waves.

As a side note, I'm not sure if there's a different intention now, but bots in the past were mainly farming exp. People bot to 30, then sell the account.

Dominion is just as bad if not worse. 2-3/5 of your team are more likely to be bots. Though no one really plays dominion anymore...

Treeline has many autobots lately.

i have notice at least one pattern in the summoner's names (although not all autobots have this pattern, but a lot do).

The autobots summoner's names are composed of two words with the 'a' letter in between. Each word has the first letter capitalize. For example, if the first word is 'First' and the second word is 'Last', then the autobot summoner's name would be 'FirstaLast'.

Hope that helps Riot filter them out.

Maybe Riot comes out with a 3's Team Builder. At least another option to get away from the bots while they find a way to deal with the issue?
