Champion Mastery Points need to be accessable on other maps and modes

Champion mastery has been out for a while now, and for me, it has added a new goal. Before, the goal was just earning IP to buy new champions, but now, I have all the champions I want and mastery is what I am trying to build more.

How lousy does it feel to me though, an avid Dominion player, not being able to earn any mastery for the champions I love and play often while I am trying to enjoy the maps I love and play often. I feel forced to play on Summoner's Rift now, and sometimes that just isn't the environment I want to be in. I don't feel that its fair I have to put myself into a queue that is far more likely to have ragers and generally unpleasant people, just to earn champion mastery.

Having champion mastery should mean that you understand the mechanics of that champion well, and that you pick them often. As of now, champion mastery only means that you understand how to win a game of Summoner's Rift. Truly mastering a champion would be being able to play that champion well, regardless of what game mode you are playing.

Adding champion mastery to Dominion, Twisted Treeline, and possibly even Howling Abyss would give those players the same sense of accomplishment and achievement that currently only SR players get. What have you got to lose, Riot?

it's not fair to people who want to win rift games to have a dominion player who is only there to farm mastery
